Tell us a little about you.
I grew up in North Carolina, but have lived in South Carolina for about 30 years with 12 of them here in Charleston. I now reside in Columbia, but frequent Charleston on a regular basis for work and visiting my daughter who lives on James Island. I enjoy being outdoors with nature and taking any opportunity to challenge myself to explore and see new things.
Why is CHBC important to you?
It's an opportunity to share ideas and network with others that have common concerns regarding how to encourage a health work / family / social life in our community. Employers have the opportunity to provide guidance to their employees on a daily bases by offering lifestyle changes that can impact not only their employees, but their dependents and friends as well.
Where is your favorite spot in Charleston?
This is a tough one to answer because I could name so many. Anything on the water is amazing here. Boating with friends, deep sea fishing, kayaking in the marsh or just sitting on the beach enjoying the sun.
What is something still left on your bucket list?
Traveling to Egypt to tour the great pyramids has always been one of my bucket list items for some strange reason.
